1 Samuel 14:6 – “Let’s go across to see those pagans,” Jonathan said to his armor bearer.  Perhaps the Lord will help us, for nothing can hinder the Lord.  He can win a battle whether he has many warriors or only a few!

Jonathan shows great faith knowing what and who he is up against.  He knows the Lord is more powerful no matter the odds.  Nothing is impossible with God; nothing.  Not even a vast army full of trained warriors against two.

Knowing the story, faith in God to do a miraculous work, they win.  Not only should we believe the Lord will come through for us, we must step out in faith and genuinely trust Him when the rubber meets the road.

God’s Word is not all that mysterious.  He lays out His will for our lives, and for each circumstance.

A lot of Christians do not really step out in faith as Jonathan and his armor bearer did, and we miss out on discovering all that God has in store for us.

We cannot grow in our spiritual condition on our own.  God has like minded brothers and sisters that accompany us to be stronger in Christ.  Jonathan was not alone.  He had his bodyguard to back him up.

Our circumstances tend to feel like we are up against insurmountable odds.  But if we choose to trust in God, we can conquer our trials, and God will make it happen if you trust in Him.

Have you stepped out in faith like Jonathan did?  Are you going through something right now, where you feel so helpless and outnumbered?  Find like minded believers to come along side you and trust God as you take on your opposition.  It is time to step out in faith.  God will do the impossible.
