Psalm 12:5 – The Lord replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless, and I have heard the groans of the poor.  Now I will rise up to rescue them, as they have longed me to do.
Every day, a mother or girlfriend is being beaten by her husband/boyfriend.  In seventh grade, a boy gets beaten up just because he is quiet and reserved.  People around the world are being slaughtered, beaten by their governments, while other people suffer from other types of abuses.
Those victims feel hopeless in their current circumstances and believe there is nowhere to turn.  But for those people who are being victimized this way, always turn to Jesus.  He cares for you so deeply, and it grieves Him when He sees your pain.  Turn to Christ, and He will rescue and comfort you.  Find refuge away from the abuses you face.  Find other brothers and sisters who can help you break free from abusive relationships and environments.
