God did something that showed his unconditional and unwavering love for sinners.  He sent His son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.  Jesus is a perfect example of a powerful warrior.  Out of all the wonderful characteristics of Christ, He endured.  He lived to be 33 years old.  He endured temptations of sin, forty days and nights in the wilderness without anything to drink or eat.  He endured ridicule, mockery, hatred, and from those that He came to save; us.  He endured the most horrific and cruel physical beatings known to man.  He endured until His mission was finished.  And on the third day, He overcame death and the bondage of sin over mankind by rising from the dead and seated on the right side of God the Father!  Even death could not stop Him.  The character traits of a warrior are not just about they skills in battle, but also about their endurance.  Are they willing to finish the fight even if things do not look good? See Christ as an example.  He did not quit and He won.
