Hostility towards Christianity and Christ continues to grow throughout the world every day.  Christians in third world countries are imprisoned and tortured for their faith.  Others lose their very lives for the sake of the Gospel.  In the United States, Christians are being threatened and ridiculed by those who hate God and want nothing to do with Him.

God’s commandments bring absolute truth to protect us from the destruction of sin.  But today, people want the very thing Christ is trying to protect us from; our selfish desires.  Because of the world’s growing blatant arrogance towards God, He has removed His hedge of protection, causing us to fall under judgment.

For Christians, we do live in a much different world than we care to admit.  We are attacked for our faith in a variety of ways even unto death.  However, the one thing evil men cannot take from us is our soul.  Because we are in Christ, we have eternal life, and no mere mortal can take that promise away from us.  Do not lose heart, for Christ has overcome the world.
