Prayer acknowledging Christ as the center of our lives and our training
We’ll go through our standard warm up and stretching.
Jumping Jacks for 30 seconds
Pogo Jump for 30 seconds
Sprawl for 30 seconds
Jab / Cross for 30 seconds
We’ll be teaching a combination drill working the jab, cross, hook, backfist, cross, and hook that we did last week. We’ll break it down to three techniques. We’ll also be instructing on how to hold the pads effectively.
From a faster pace, we’ll be running a timed drill implementing what we just learned from session 1. We’ll be performing both sides in the same drill; this will help improve your footwork switching.
We’ll perform our granada at the end of our class.
For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. – 1 Corinthians 15:21-22 (NIV)
Western culture has been formed by our view of the individual. We talk of a personal Savior. But the Scripture challenges that assumption. From God’s point of view, what we do not only affects us, but everyone around us. Because of Adam’s disobedience, we all suffer under sin. Because of Christ’s obedience all can be made alive. So we need to see that our choices have far reaching implications. So choose today to follow Jesus. That choice has far greater implications than you know.
