Light Kicking Drills

This routine is mainly to work on technique in our kicks.  It is not meant to be a tough workout.  Listed below are kicking drills that focus on different levels.

Beginner / Basic Kicks
These kicks are your fundamental techniques to build off of for more advanced kicking.  Perform just 5 kicks per leg for each of the techniques listed.  Focus on form and follow through.  I would recommend shadow kicking first, then move onto pads or a heavy bag.
Front Kick
Round Kick
Side Kick
Thrust Kick
Wheel Kick
Hook Kick

In the next section, we will talk about intermediate level kicks, spinning kicks, etc.
