Last night was a great success for the first class of this season. It was great to meet new men and see familiar faces. Last night, we eased into the ministry by focusing on basic fundamentals, combinations, and core exercises.
At the end of the class, we focused our attention in the Word titled “Urgency to Repentance,” and used scripture from 2 Corinthians 13:5. We need to examine ourselves and our walk with the Lord. Are we in fellowship with our Savior, or do we find ourselves slipping back into the worldly pleasures that so easily ensnare? Satan loves to trip us up in our walk with Christ, so it is important we examine our walk, ask God to find any sin in us, and repent of it!
Are you living in sin that is hurting your relationship with Christ? Is it sin that is destroying your marriage, career, or family? Satan wants to steal, kill, and destroy, Christ wants you to have life and have it abundantly.
We have some prayer requests I want to share with the group so we can arm ourselves and pray for each other:
Serghi – Prayer for his sister who is in need of supernatural healing. She is 33 and her name is Ena (please let me know Serghi if that is spelled incorrectly).
Sam – He is looking for a new job. The one he works with has a very high turnover due to unethical behavior.
He is recently engaged, and asks for prayer for smooth wedding planning.
Brook – Prayer for an upcoming job opportunity and to know if it is the right move.
Mike M – Prayer for his mother for healing.
Prayer for healing for his wife as well.
