If you find yourself in a life threatening situation, you must take action very quickly, because chances are the perpetrator is coming hard and fast. This level is hard to miss, but I will point out a few of the types of threats you will encounter.
You could be faced with threats such as, multiple attackers, assaults including weapons, terrorism, or even home invasion. If you perceive that your life or your family’s lives are in immediate danger, you must take quick action. A great example would be home invasions.
If you have been watching the news or being informed somehow, mob attacks have become a trend in the crime world. Victims have been killed because of multiple attackers. This is not just isolated to men, but women and children as well. A mob mentality has been on the rise.
Assault with a deadly weapon is the common denominator with such threats. Some not all, who carries a weapon, are intended to take a life of their victim. This would exclude most law abiding citizens who carry weapons to protect their own lives. But those who intend on inflicting death on their victims will almost always carry with them a knife or firearm.
Terrorism is a high level threat, but most of them are done in cowardly fashion. Terrorism’s purpose is to create mass casualty rates in stealth mode. The point is to create panic and fear among the masses, and if you cannot identify the terrorists, it gets worse. Fear is usually of the unknown.
The low, medium and high level threats discussed are just touching the surface. There is more to it, and would take much more time to write. Hopefully you were able to get a visual of what to look out for so that you will be able to be more prepared. Types of threats can change rapidly and frequently, so one size does not fit all. But understanding the perpetrators motivations will help you with enough information to protect you and your families’ lives.Tags: high level, life threatening, self defense
