Speed and Power Drills to Improve Your Boxing

In this drill, we will dedicate a full hour to improving our boxing.  We will be focusing on speed, power, and proper technique.  The arms will get a great workout today.

Perform 10 sets of Jabs for 100 repetitions just in the air.  When finished, switch sides.
Execute 10 elevated pushups.
Perform 10 sets of Back fists for 100 repetitions just in the air.  When finished, switch sides.
Execute 10 elevated pushups.
Perform 10 sets of Hooks for 100 repetitions on a heavy bag.  Alternate your hooks.
Execute 10 elevated pushups.
Perform a rapid punching combination on a heavy bag for 100 repetitions.  Perform 10 sets of this.
Execute 10 elevated pushups.
Perform 10 sets of Jabs on a heavy bag at 100 repetitions.  When finished, switch your stances.
Execute 10 elevated pushups.
Perform 10 sets of Back fists on a heavy bag at 100 repetitions.  When you are finished, switch your stances.
Execute 10 elevated pushups.
Perform alternating uppercuts for 10 sets at 100 repetitions each arm.
Execute 10 elevated pushups.
Perform the cross punch at 10 sets of 100 repetitions each arm.
